About the Journal

Indonesian Journal of Living Quran and Hadith (LIQHAD) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to examining how the Qur’an and Hadith are understood, interpreted, practiced, and embodied in everyday Muslim life. The journal provides a scholarly platform for theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary research on the Living Qur’an, Living Hadith, religious traditions, local wisdom, ritual practices, education, digital media, social movements, and contemporary Muslim communities. LIQHAD welcomes qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies that explore the dynamic relationship between Islamic texts and social realities, particularly in Indonesia and the wider Muslim world.

LIQHAD invites scholars, researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners from diverse academic backgrounds to submit original and high-quality manuscripts relevant to its focus and scope. Before submission, authors are required to use the official journal template and comply with the Author Guidelines, Publication Ethics, AI Policy, and plagiarism-prevention requirements.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance, originality, methodological quality, and conformity with the journal’s academic standards. Eligible manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process to ensure fair, objective, and academically rigorous assessment. LIQHAD utilizes Open Journal Systems (OJS) to facilitate manuscript submission, peer review, editorial communication, publication, and open-access dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
