Focus and Scope

Jurnal Pengabdian Akademisi Indonesia (PAKAI) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing scholarly works in the field of community service, community empowerment, and the practical implementation of science, technology, education, and social innovation. The journal serves as an academic platform for lecturers, researchers, practitioners, students, and community development actors to disseminate the results, impacts, and best practices of community engagement activities across various disciplines.

The journal emphasizes applied, participatory, and solution-oriented approaches that contribute to improving community welfare, strengthening local capacities, and supporting sustainable social development. PAKAI welcomes interdisciplinary perspectives that integrate academic knowledge with community needs and local wisdom in addressing contemporary societal challenges.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Education and Community Literacy: Educational empowerment, digital literacy, financial literacy, religious education, community-based learning, inclusive education, literacy development, and educational innovation.
  2. Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship: MSME development, community entrepreneurship, cooperative empowerment, creative economy, business mentoring, local economic development, financial inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods.

PAKAI accepts reports of community service activities, applied research-based service programs, empowerment models, training and mentoring activities, and interdisciplinary initiatives that demonstrate measurable social impact and innovation. The journal welcomes contributions from authors in Indonesia and around the world whose works are relevant to community engagement and sustainable societal development.
